# indielist

> Indie game intelligence directory, served by indielist (https://indielist.games). Sales figures are modeled with the white-box Boxleiter algorithm, not official data.

indielist maps the relationships between indie game studios, publishers, games and funding into a single graph. It tracks 1,415 Steam titles, 1,937 studios and 1,448 publishers, each connected so you can trace who made a game, who published it, and how it performed. Its defining feature is a white-box sales estimate: every figure expands into the Boxleiter-based formula behind it, with each adjustment for release year, price, studio size and review count shown openly rather than a black-box number. The directory serves players discovering games by genre and real sales signal, developers short-listing the right publisher before pitching, and investors sizing a studio with an auditable estimate.
